Bob Strother

Author

Bob Strother spent thirty years penning technical reports, issue papers and a melange of work-related documents before discovering his love for creative writing. Then, in 2004, during the return leg of a road trip to Flagstaff, his wife suggested he should preserve his oft-told tales of a delightfully wacky southern family and misspent youth. He joined the Greenville Chapter of the South Carolina Writers Workshop and has been consumed with his new passion ever since.

Bob's novel, "Love Among the Greeks" was published in 2005. He's completed three others since -- "Burning Time", "Shug's Place", and "Forgive Us Our Sins"-- which are as yet unpublished. His short stories have been published in more than two dozen literary journals and magazines, and his non-fiction work has appeared in various professional trade journals and other nationally published periodicals.

Bob's short story collection, Scattered, Smothered, and Covered, was published in February, 2011 through Main Street Rag Publishing Company.

Bob and his wife, Vicki, live in Greenville, South Carolina. They have four grandchildren, Brody, Owen, Harper, and Darby, and love life as grandparents.
