Several of Bob's short stories have been accepted for future publication:

Talking River Review, a literary journal published by Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho, has accepted "Kokopeli Dreams" for publication sometime during 2008. This story was inspired by a trip to Flagstaff, Arizona for Bob's son's wedding.

Another short story "thriller" — "The Contract" has been accepted for publication in a future edition of Hardboiled, a noir/crime magazine reminiscent of the pulp fiction mags of the '50s. It is published by Gryphon Books in Brooklyn, New York.

"All A Boy Could Give" will be published in July, 2008, by Down in the Dirt. This small circulation magazine is a part of Scars Publications & Design, based in Gurnee, Illinois.

Bob's novel-in-progress, "Burning Time," begins in the early 1900s and is loosely based on his paternal grandmother's life. After her mother divorces an abusive husband, young Louise becomes the family "rock" — quitting school at thirteen to provide an income for her mother and younger brother, marrying an older man at fourteen, and becoming a mother herself at fifteen. Bob hopes to finish the book sometime in 2008.

Bob recently joined other Greenville SCWW authors whose work was included in Volume I of The Petigru Review for a signing at Greenville's independent book store, The Open Book. Another signing is scheduled for February 16th, 2008 at the Greenville County Library.
